Have you recently been feeling depressed but nothing is wrong?
I used to feel that way 3 weeks ago.
Making the effort to spend time with people and to pretend to enjoy myself is just too much. I think it’s important to give ourselves permission to not always be happy. Everybody is different, and everybody has different ways of dealing with pain.
You are probably feeling, well, low. Quiet, not particularly expressive and you find yourself staring into the middle distance. And suddenly you cried without a single reason.
What tends to happen then is you drag yourself down a bit further, beating yourself up for feeling this way, or infecting other people around you with your low mood, and generally being a little bit sad. The danger is, this can spiral out of control and ruin your day, evening, week or longer.
For me, 𝗗𝗢 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗙𝗘𝗘𝗟 𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗘. For a little sample; eating ice cream, watching netflix, go to party, etc. Even locked up to yourself from crowded. All its fine.
The important thing is surround yourself with people who love you. Spending time with people who make you laugh, who keep you out of your head and make you feel good about yourself
