As i grow older, the more convinced i am that i do not need people's approval for what i am and what i do. I am me, and i love myself with all my flaws. Can't accept them? You're very welcome to walk out of my life, who wants toxics in their lives anyway? I used to be a total people pleaser, i bleed inside when i know not everybody loves me - those days are long gone. Now i place my happiness in my own hand, not other people's. This is probably the best advise i can give to my young friends, go do whatever you want and stop worrying about what others (whether it's your peer or more often, family members) might think of you.
