Growing up when home wasn't the safest place I once called Singapore home. It was about 20 years ago when I was a toddler, SG wasn’t as advanced as it is now. They're still developing as well back then so there's not much of entertainment places in town that's why my mom would take me to the airport on holidays or weekend. I remember how thrilling it was to hop on and off the sky train, not to forget all the kid rides and photo box. It's a place that holds a lot of my childhood memories!
Changi is like a treasure box, It’s place that make me feel a lot of different mixed emotions. Before when I was a kid, it would saddening whenever I see my dad leave through the departure hall. Cause I lived for about two years in SG, so my dad would go back and forth but it would be the happiest day whenever I got to pick him up at the airport. My heart is full whenever I saw daddy through the arrival hall.
Ever since before Changi is a one stop entertainment place. Even before entering the waiting hall there’s a lot that Changi offers to provide fun and entertainment for its visitors. Fast forward to it is now.. Changi has one of the best layover area with a whole complete beauty and lifestyle shopping area. I once experienced a long layover at the airport but I didn’t feel bored at all! Definitely my fav.
Where else or at least at all the airports I've been before I haven't found any that focuses so much into their visitors concern on ergonomic comfort, fun and interactive airport. Long layovers aren't a problem anymore! My favorite is watching sunrise over the sunflower garden :) The view of the crack of dawn is breathtaking ! #ChangiDiHati .
